Marisa Vann, MEd, LPC, SEP
Somatic Psychotherapist (she/her/hers)
I see our work together as a collaborative journey of self-discovery, where you can gain deeper insight and connect with your authentic self in a nurturing, safe space. Throughout this process, we’ll explore ways to help you get unstuck, making life’s challenges feel more manageable through embodiment, new perspectives, and the development of essential skills. As our work progresses, you’ll begin to understand how we each play a role in shaping our present circumstances, and how you can find meaning and growth in your experiences.
I approach each client from a trauma-informed perspective, working with adults navigating developmental and complex trauma, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, and questions around sexual or gender identity. I believe healing is possible for everyone, beginning with reconnecting to your body and befriending your nervous system. Grounded in somatic psychotherapy, attachment theory, existential psychology, and polyvagal theory, my work creates a safe, supportive space for us to explore your experiences and foster lasting change.
